Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)

PMDD is a much more severe form of PMS that affects 3 to 8% of women in reproductive years. It is a medical condition that requires intervention and treatment in affected individuals. The exact cause of PMDD is unknown but scientific research suggests it may be due to extreme sensitivity to hormonal changes in woman sufferers.

Symptoms of PMDD

Teens and women who suffer with PMDD often experience symptoms severe enough to interfere or disrupt daily living tasks. PMDD is a serious medical condition that causes many body systems to be affected.

Did you know that individuals with PMDD are at increased risk of having suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts during the premenstrual phase than their non-PMDD peers?

If you or someone you know suffers from PMDD get help now! You or your loved one does not have to suffer. Book a consult for evaluation and treatment.

PMDD can be successfully treated with hormones, medications and lifestyle changes.
